Inspiration

We are a group of friends who met in classes, each of us sharing one thing in common—a complete inability to navigate campus! This shared struggle inspired us to combine our unique skills and hackathon spirit to create a solution. Together, we’re passionate about using technology to make life easier for everyone.

What it does

a campus-exclusive map that allows students to see which building their friends are in, making it easier to connect in real life. With integrated video calling, it solves the problem of device compatibility between Android and iPhone users. You can also toggle your availability, so only friends you've shared your location with can see if you're open to meeting up.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

We ran into problems when implementing the T-Mobile SDK, especially with the sandbox environment that it worked on.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Addressing a problem that was dear to us and our everyday lives, and learn how to use so cool telecommunication APIs that we'd never used before. We also enjoyed and are proud of our teamwork and ability to share tasks based on our strengths.

What we learned

As a team, we learned how to collaborate in high-stakes environments, and improved our skill of learning and implementing APIs and frameworks simultaneously. We also improved our full stack development skills, and really learned how to use SDKs
