Initially we wanted to incorporate a feature where users can take a picture of the poster and Gemini would extract the data from there, but drafter lacks this capability at this point. So, we pivoted and chose to use a functionality in phones to gather text from the poster and input it into the website.

What's next for Campus Event Calendar

We would love to be able to incorporate the image functionality in the future, and add more personalization to the website such as the ability to bookmark and add notes.
