Inspiration

The inspiration for this project came from the lack of an efficient way for college students to know exactly what kind of events are available in their community

What it does

Our Webapp uses a Map interface to allow users to see their own location as well as events that are in their area.

How we built it

We built the project using the Django Framework and the Google Maps API

Challenges we ran into

We started with Android Studio but unfortunately were unable to make much progress. We had issues with distance calculation. We had issues with filtering videos based on the event they are related to. Sending information between Python, Javascript and HTML proved to be difficult.

We are proud of being able to show and filter videos We are proud of the ability to click a location and see its details We are proud of an overall working product!
