Our initial design for our website

Inspiration

Food and saving money are the two most appealing things to any college student. It’s also very tedious trying to navigate through online forums to find out which restaurants are worth going to. Which is why we created this website that would allow us to save money and time while keeping our bellies full.

What it does

In this website you will find a search menu that lists out all the restaurants at Queens college or near it, albeit in this case the restaurant names and information are made up. There you will see helpful information such as ratings, reviews, dietary restrictions, addresses, and also coupons. All of which is meant to make life easier for the average college student.

How we built it

We designed the main pages of our web application on Figma, before coding the website through HTML/CSS and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

Giving functionality to our website designs was the most difficult part, aside from thinking of what project we wanted to make. We also struggled with designing the features in css.
