Inspiration- Struggles we faced in our freshmen year led us to envision this website where we integrate essential services for college students so that they don't have to face what we faced
What it does-It helps students to have an opportunity to navigate essential services such as hostel booking purchasing second hand items, know the location of places they have shifted to and staying updated on campus events
How we built it- We started with a basic figma design . after that we used react for front end and firebase for backend. we used conductor to create workflows for hostel booking and campus deals
Challenges we ran into-Conductor was a very new topic for us so it was very hard for us to comprehend and implement it in our project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of- This is our first time in a hackathon and we are very proud of ourselves for completing it on time and to build something useful for the students out there who still face struggles of not having a proper campus guide
What we learned-We learned the importance of teamwork and we also learnt many useful and new tech stacks such as firebase, conductor, django .
What's next for Campus Connect-This is a prototype which will be integrated in a bigger project which is being made for our college
