Inspiration
Campus Concierge was born from the daily struggles Virginia Tech students face when navigating campus life. We noticed that students constantly juggle multiple websites and apps to find basic information - checking dining hall hours, bus schedules, and campus events separately. The inspiration came from seeing students waste precious time during their busy academic schedules just to find simple information that should be readily accessible through conversation. We envisioned a solution that would bring together all campus services into one intelligent, voice-activated assistant that understands the unique needs of Virginia Tech students. The goal was to create something that feels natural - like having a knowledgeable friend who knows everything about campus and can help you with just a simple voice command.
