Inspiration

We were inspired by the overall camping theme. We asked ourselves what useful resources that users could use when camping.

What it does

Helps users that are passionate or interested in camping to be organized with their tasks, and find their was back to their chosen camp site. If they ever depart from tehri friends the app also allows tracking as well.

How we built it

We used Python programming as well as tkinter, and tkintermapview module to help display the front end of our app, as well as a map to help users navigate.

Challenges we ran into

We learned the challenges that come with programming, such as errors with pip and having python installing too many times.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were proud to have all the buttons connected to our main window, as well as our search bar when wanted to look up a place or coordinates.

What we learned

We learned more about using a Python GUI as well as learning why errors appeared in our program.

What's next for Campify

We hope to include more features, such as a fun camping related game, and also to help solidify our prototype app.
