Inspiration

Because of the hackathon theme and the inspiration of Airbnb, we decided to develop an app called Campbnb, where people can rent camping sites.

What it does

Campbnb locates most of the camping sites across US and Canada. There you can rent for a certain amount of time.

How we built it

We use react, tailwind CSS for the front end, and Prisma for the back end.

Challenges we ran into

Even though the two of us have experience with full-stack developments, we didn't have the time to complete the project in 24 hours because some key features could take hours to implement.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got most of the backend features connected to the front end.

What we learned

Not only we learned how to collaborate, but we also learned how to use different tools like react, and Prisma.

What's next for Campbnb

We wanted to have the remaining feature to be finished. Plus, we're thinking of adding events and a rating system for every camping sites.
