Inspiration
This is a submission for the Tahoe Quantum hackathon challenge at the Yale Quantum Hackathon. Firefighters face enormous challenges and uncertainty when fighting wildfires. We were tasked to build a tool to help. In addition to the listed contributors, Xavier Bergeron built the data module.
What it does
Our tool is not ready for production use, but was a useful pedagogical exercise to learn more about building a QUBO to run QAOA and a corresponding data module.
How we built it
We built this with Google Colab and putting our fingers to keyboards.
Challenges we ran into
This was a great learning experience. Our inexperience gradually graduated to knowledge as we progressed.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We improved our abilities to build code infrastructure.
What we learned
We learned more about how QAOA and QUBOs work.
What's next for Camion Paris
We'll continue the learning process to discover ways to turn these structures into productive technology.
