Inspiration

We were inspired by the need to easily transport goods and other assistive tech!

What it does

This robot carries your heaviest loads! It helps the elderly and those with handicaps to become more independent and autonomous. Using April tags, we are also developing a "follow" program to assist with shopping, transportation, etc.

How I built it

This robot is built from salvaged wheelchair motors and an 80x20 aluminum frame. Raspberry Pi was used to drive the motors.!

Challenges I ran into

We ran into challenges with speed control and April tags, but have succeeded after much teamwork and dedication!!!

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We have built an exciting robot that moves, is programmable, and works really well!

What I learned

We have learned so much about April tags, hardware, and xbox control integration!

What's next for Camelot

Next, we will continue to develop the autonomous capabilities of Camelot, allowing the robot to navigate a dorm or house independently to assist the user! We will also perfect the "follow" program.
