Inspiration

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a testing time for the entire human race. It has take toll on everybody physically and mentally. The mental aspects get ignored and this impacts the well being of individuals in the long run. Calmify is a solution to this problem. It is a solution to make people aware of their mental well being and help them learn and practice the best solution - Meditation

What it does

Calmify is a self-help webapp that lets users learn and practise meditaion. The web player developed helps users explore different varities of meditations and the awesome UI makes the whole process all the more charming! There is a learn section which provides information about meditation and its impact and users can understand the whole subject of meditation better.

How I built it

Calmify is built using ReactJS and NodeJs along with DataStax-Astra as the database. The App is deployed on Google Cloud App Engine DataStax dashboard screen shot is attached in gallery for reference

Challenges I ran into

Integrating DataStax Astra with react was challenging but I was able to overcome it!

Accomplishments that I am proud of

Building a self care and informative application in the stipulated time frame

What I learned

I learnt how to make awesome animations and put them into a React application.
