Calm Connect App

A mental health app that provides locations of licensed therapists, educational materials on improving mental health, and other features such as a quiz that assesses mood.

We wanted to create a project that could help our community address mental health by providing a way to reach specialists and access to trusted online sources on mental health issues. That is exactly what this project does. The project also provides a quiz to assess the user's current mental health and provides a way to connect with friends. We built this project as a snack on expo.dev using javascript. There were a lot of new things we had to learn when it came to designing the app, particularly when it came to designing the ways to access the app's different pages. Overall, we gained more experience in javascript and are proud of the design and functionality of the app. There are still some features that have not been fully completed, but we hope to continue working on it in the future and find new ways to improve it.
