Inspiration

I was inspired to make this while in the bathroom, I was thinking about how I always fail to make organized plans for myself. Thought about it a bit more and felt like this could be something the people like and want.

What it does

It takes the general idea of an event, sending it over to OpenAI for NLP to format it nicely and display in your google calendar.

How we built it

We used Next, React, Js and TailwindCss for styling.

Challenges we ran into

For importing openai package, for us that was a challenge as it wouldn't seem to work and kept causing problems. As well as using Google Calendar API, we weren't able to completely finish it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to keep up with the frontend of our product.

What we learned

We have never really implemented openai or any kind of backbone into any projects we've made before so this is our first one. This was definitely a good start since ai is becoming more and more

What's next for Cally

We want to finish up our main features to be able to send to google calendar.
