Caller Ping

Time to hold the phone companies accountable.

This would cost money for them to implement but they must be responsible for the product they delivery to the public.

When a call is placed to your phone at the last switch gear before the call reaches your residence the final connection cannot be made until a ping is sent back to the caller. The ping would go out by way of the caller id information that is included with the call. The ping would then return on the line with the call being made.

This can also be accomplished on the consumer level by adding a box before the consumer's telephone.

If the caller ID is in question the box will prompt the caller that the call is about to be reversed. This means that the box will hang up on the caller and call right back using the caller id information. This process will verify that the caller id information is correct.
