What inspired me to do this project was I was thinking about my past HTML and CSS projects, and I combined them together to make it look like the YouTube version of Call Of Duty.
What this project does is it functions pretty much like YouTube in which you can search up, sign in, log in, and click on the images, the titles, and the descriptions to watch the videos. It also has a list of the greatest Call Of Duty characters, which you can hover over the names of the characters and click the characters names to view their profiles and there is also a biohazard symbol next to the Call Of Duty logo at the top left-hand corner, in which you can click on it and it will send you to the Call Of Duty wiki page.
How I built this project was I used the HTML and CSS language. I used a lot of the anchor tags to link the names of the characters to the Call Of Duty wiki page, and to link the images, the titles, and the descriptions to the videos.
The challenges that I faced were formatting the images and the texts and finding the right background image because when I coded the tags to display the images and the texts, they tend to go to places where I don't want them to go, so I had to add CSS to format them where I wanted them to be. Finding the background image, it took quite a long time to find the correct one because there are images that I found that look good, but they don't have good sizes, in which they don't fit well in the background.
The accomplishment that I'm proud of is how nice my project is because I was able to combine my previous projects to make this project look very nice and it has more shine to it than my previous projects.
What I learned from this project is I can combine my previous projects to make something better.
The next thing for this project is to add functionalities for the search bar, the sign-in tab, and the log-in tab, to make them function and make this project better.
