Inspiration

I wanted to mash together two things that should never mix: Call of Duty and Broadway musicals. After years of editing reality TV, it felt natural to take Ghost’s gritty world and turn it into a full-blown, absurd musical finale.

What it does

It transforms COD characters into singing, dancing soldiers. Ghost, Price, Nova, König, and Spawn belt out “the hard combat life” in an AI-generated parody that’s equal parts epic and ridiculous.

How we built it

Lyrics in character voices → AI vocals in ElevenLabs → AI music composition → visuals from Runway/KLING/VEO/ImagenFX → stitched in Avid like a reality-TV special meets blockbuster trailer.

Challenges we ran into

Keeping voices consistent, syncing visuals with music, balancing polish with comedy, and embracing the “so wrong it’s right” moments AI gave us. Making video game characters dance!

Accomplishments

• First full COD musical parody.

• Audiences laughing and humming the chorus.
  

What we learned

AI comedy works best when you lean into imperfections. Creativity drives the tools — not the other way around.

What’s next

Season 2 of Ghost Stories: Ghost plays Minecraft, a GQ “Cover Boy” spoof, and maybe even a zombie jazz routine. Bigger, stranger, and even more musical.
