Call Catcher is an automated tool to verify legitimate calls you would want to receive, its mission is to deter robotic calls that are unwanted and annoying. It works very easy. You dial your phone carriers * feature for Call Catcher and then you can set time restrictions and also verification methods. Verification methods have many options. Once Call catcher is activated, and your number is dialed, Call Catcher will ask for the callers name, if Call Catcher does not get a recognized sound with a pause at the end, it will disconnect the call, for instance, it can recognize when asking for the callers name, that the caller goes right into conversation, this caller because they did not simply state their name, would be disconnected. Time restrictions allow the phone number owner to not only make verification methods active for certain hours of the day, but can actually block calls at certain points. Call Catcher also records robotic calls and uses a computer program to store the numbers in a database, these numbers are then called back to verify they are not legitimate and then investigated further proving their illegitimacy.
