Bereal is a recent, trending app that has inspired us to use the influence of daily notifications to aid us in promoting excitement and urgency with environmental sustainability. Using Figma, we designed this app to be easy to use for all users. In this app, users complete daily challenges that center on environmentally sustainable habits and practices. Users are able to submit video/photo evidence of them completing challenges in exchange for a leaf. They are able to follow others and view their content, while also growing their own profile. As they collect more and more leaves, they are able to use these leaves to purchase gift cards. The challenges we have faced in this project is the logistics of the app and how we’re able to think through the logistics, while thinking about the overall design of the project.
