Inspiration
We were hoping to better our productivity since we found ourselves procrastinating and being distracted when we work on tasks.
What it does
CalEnder is a website that keeps track of tasks in a calendar in the form of a table through user input.
How we built it
We built the basic layout of the website in HTML. We then stylized it using CSS. In addition, we used JavaScript to keep track of cookies and display the task to the user.
Challenges we ran into
A challenge we faced was displaying the user inputted task to the calendar displayed on the website. Another challenge we faced was keeping track of cookies.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
An accomplishment we are proud of is using AWS to host our website. We are also proud of using JavaScript to keep track of cookies such that it loads when the website is reopened.
What we learned
We learned more aspects of CSS and HTML. We also learned how to use JavaScript to display the inputted task. In addition, we learned how to use AWS.
What's next for CalEnder
The next step for CalEnder is to display the user inputted task on the calendar shown in the website.
