Calendar Connect

Calendar Connect is a personalised calendar website which collects and connects events from various websites using web scraping techniques, enabling the user to keep up to date automatically. The user will not need to check dozens of websites for new events and updates any more.

In further steps of development, we also aim to include an image recognition function, so that the user can photograph event posters or flyers using a smartphone, and can then submit the photo to our web service, which will recognize the written date and save it to the user's personal calendar.

The project was created during the Hacktival 2019 Karlsruhe by Tom Kaufmann, Antonia Schumacher, Jakob Unterholzner, Michael Lauenstein.
