Inspiration

Everyone in the FRHSD district knows the pain of figuring out what class you have next. Every single day, with all the different classes at different times knowing where to go is challenging, so what if you didn't need to?

What it does

G.E.A.R. Scheduling allows students to view their schedule in an easily digestible form as well as tell students how much longer they have before class ends.

How we built it

We used repl.it, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to write the code for our website.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the formatting for the website to work as well as the button inputs was a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got the job done with a reasonable amount of time to spare, and even managed to implement features we did not initially expect to implement.

What we learned

We learned how to use HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make a website.

What's next for G.E.A.R. Scheduling

Add a feature that allows students to add in their own schedules.

As of currently, the G.E.A.R. schedule is being updated with more day formats, such as snow days, half-days, and delayed openings. We are still only catering to Manalapan High School students, but we will offer the ability to add your own schedule and timings in the near future.
