Inspiration
It is inspired from a classic Nintendo DS cooking game called the Yumeiro Patisserie, where
What it does
The application first asks the user for details about themselves, followed by their MBTI personality type, and then it will generate a postcard of a personalised cake, with the recipe for others to make it at home. Next, there is a second stage where players whom matched with the same cake image will face each other in a bake-off, where the first person to finish making the cake will serve it. And the top 2 players will be chosen to participate in Stage 3, where they will attempt to throw cake at each other, and the one pressing 'throw' FIRST, wins the game!
How we built it
We built this app using Rork app builder prompting, along with React-native as its base language, and Perplexity to refine our prompts for the stages implementation process.
Challenges we ran into
We had issues with Rork performing too slow which made our prompt creation quite challenging to achieve, especially when creating 3D models.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We implemented a fantastic game, and learned the value of teamwork even better than before!
What we learned
We learned that prompts can react very slow, the more specific the requirements of our app become, and the bulk of implementations necessary.
What's next for Cake Canvas
We will implement a stage where the person can bake the cake together with their friends, not just battle with it.
