Cake Clicker

Inspiration

Josh (Dad) & Jamie love cake!

Shows a bunch of picturs with cake. You have 10 seconds to click them all!

We used Bootstrap/Javascript, along with CSS and HTML.

Jamie has coded very little previously. She had never been to a hackathon, and was challenged to contribute a lot.

Jamie got to participate in a Hackathon for the first time, and we were able to complete a small game to play for submission!

Keeping things simple will allow for us to finish. Jamie also learned what Bootstrap was, and the purpose of utlizing this into a website.

Add Leaderboards and fun music!

I created the initial idea for the Cake Clicker, as well as filled out the post summary. I helped code some HTML, and worked on the design. I found all of the pictures, and embedded them into the code. I also included the cute gerbil eating cake :)

After Jamie designed our application, I started the framework. I had to teach Jamie along the way, using Bootstrap and JavaScript. While we would love to implement Leaderboards, music, and ominous sound when the timer is close, we felt a simple version was a good choice for first time submissions for both of us.
