Caillou's Quest

Inspiration

Our inspiration for our project was the websites that we learned how to code on initially, they included both websites and interactive examples that allow you to test your learning. We also included a game that involves multiple choice questions to add a fun educative game.

What it does

The GUI displays basic information about coding and then provides questions that provide feedback based on the answer. There is also a button that links to a game that involves multiple choice questions and Caillou.

How we built it

We built it using Tkinter for the GUI and pygame for the game

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge we ran into was involving the creation of the GUI and creating multiple pages that could be flipped back and forth from. Another challenge we had was implementing the game into the GUI that we had created.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of completing a project at all as no one in our group had prior experience with a GUI or game so we learned a lot from scratch.

What we learned

We learned how to use Tkinter to create a GUI and pygame to create a game as well as the importance of communication when working in a coding team. Specifically we should have planned out the project more thoroughly in the beginning as we had multiple members working on the same thing.
