Inspiration

As I sat down to think of a project, I was thinking about a lesson I had in school that day. It was about plants and how they take in CO2 to produce oxygen. As I heard a notification on my Alexa, I thought, Why not make a chatbot that could be powered by CO2 - The very most important thing that causes climate change...

What it does

CAIA (Climate-AI-Assistant) is a chatbot that you can wear on your wrist. It can make calls, texts, and, most importantly, give you tips toward a better health!

How we built it

Using Scratch, I animated and coded an AI wristwatch to do these 3 things.

Challenges we ran into

Multiple times, I found bugs in my code. One of my biggest challenges was that the Text-To-Speech and Speech-To-Text extensions on thinkland.ai weren't working.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I successfully completed this. There were multiple times that I felt like quitting, but I persevered.

What we learned

I learned a few new tricks in scratch, and did a lot more with operators and other uncommon blocks.

What's next for CAIA - Climate AI Assistant

Next, I will add more features and more commands that CAIA can do.
