Inspiration
We currently face an overpopulation problem at our university campus, it affects everything, including cafeterias. We consistently have to wait in line for at least 20 to 30 minutes just to get a meal. We think the situation can improve.
What it does
As an student, I can order food and pay it right in the app. Then, I can go to the café and only pick my food. As an admin, I can see (and control) each order and the status of my different tupper.
How we built it
We used React Native for the app and React JS for the admin app, we went with a serverless architecture (firebase)
Challenges we ran into
Integrating all the different "mini-projects" (apps / web / hardware) and making sure we weren't missing anything.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our first time that we using push notifications.
