Wanted to build something that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The inspiration came from internet meme culture.
What it does
Slokita is a meme coin that lives on the “Solana Island” a metaphorical paradise for degens, dreamers, and digital jesters. It’s a token for the community, by the community.
How we built it
Uesd Html, Bootstrap 5.2.3, font awesome icons, and wow js for minimal animation
Challenges we ran into
Getting the vibe just right was surprisingly tough. Didn’t want the site to feel like every other cookie-cutter crypto landing page.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The front end loads smoothly, the animations hit at the right moments.
What we learned
Learned how to balance simplicity with style, keeping things fast while still visually appealing.
What's next for Slokita
Maybe a multipage website for the future with interactive and working features.
