Inspiration
The next interface for AI models will be the physical world, we're looking to expedite the exploration and production of advanced components, like super critical CO2 turbines, by connecting Claude to the relevant file types and context on individual part manufacturing.
What it does
Reads obj and stl files from the product catalogs of Tier2+ manufacturers, like Danfoss and Granges. Interfaces with the human industrial designer to collaborate on price, durability, and expedite the exploration of available components across a wide variety of alloys.
How we built it
We used V0 to spin up a light weight frontend and connected with Traceparts to build our database of files and metadata. The application depends on an MCP we built for for 3D files.
Challenges we ran into
Normalization of CAD file formats, retrieving accurate pricing information.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We truly did this all today - we believe that this tool can expedite hardware development.
