Inspiration

Our inspiration was to solve the below issue: Busy students are on the go need easy access to important information and resources. They are constantly struggling with this because they have to search scattered webpages, download apps, or need mobile data.

What it does

An AI Assistant ready to help students 24/7 with all campus related resources. No need to download anything No need to connect to anything To use CaCo, Just open your phone and send a text.

How we built it

We used Twilio API to be able to send messages and receive messages, hosted our backend on AWS lambda, used MongoDB for our database and information and Dialogflow CX for NLP. Used Google Cloud APIs for integrations.

Challenges we ran into

Not having access to Queen's Open Data Set API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having working functionalities with Google Cloud APIs.

What we learned

Google APis and Time management.
