Cabbage Bowl Codebrew 2023

Inspiration

Inspired by the need to make healthier recipes more accessible to the public, we aim to make recipes easy to access on the web in one place, tailored to the user.

What it does

Personalised meal plans are tailored by referring to the user's data (e.g., age, weight). Then by selecting their preferred diet, they are able to find recipe plans for the duration they want.

How we built it

We designed it on Figma and built it with Next.js

Challenges we ran into

It was our first time making a website so we faced many challenges learning the technologies and implementing them simultaneously especially since not all of us have a web dev background.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to put out a rough prototype despite not knowing how to work with Next.js a couple of days prior.

What we learned

We may be able to competently use React.js and Next.js in our future projects with more practice.

What's next for Cabbage Bowl Codebrew 2023

We can hook the website to APIs (possibly to ChatGPT) and recipe databases such that we can make decent recommendations based on more attributes with many more recipes!
