Inspiration

Team Samskriti presents the unique skill curator platform named CAASTOWN named Cult as a Service Town where passion, talents, and society converge. A cult is a group of people defined by a sacred devotion to something they like, believe, or have an enormous passion for. CAASTOWN is a distinctive platform that reflects values, beliefs & skills and helps to preserve many different identities that help to make up our world. After all, culture can often be understood only by its absence. In this digital age, let us take the aid of AI and ML to uphold cult as a service. Follow your passion is an old slogan, CAASTOWN aims beyond that. It helps, identify, develop and nurture your passion.

What if an individual is denied over pursuing his/her passion, art, skill and left isolated? It may lead to several unwanted negatives which may even lead to economic loss. We require a platform to engage positively, avert skill loss, and credit the effort to create hope. For this, we need a platform to curate culture, a bank to save creative credits. CAASTOWN is such a platform.

While all this is great and relatable, the ground-level problem is very different. Students are mad rushing toward job yielding fields and better packages, leaving aside their passion. Youth is missing proper direction and purpose. They are losing inspiration to preserve skill, art & culture. Even in the digital age, there is no single platform integrating mentoring, learning, opportunity creation, and networking. There is no Crowd Evaluation Metrics to uphold the course, content, or concert. There is a critical need to address these issues collectively. The platform should derive the great power of connecting passion with purpose.

What it does

Virtual tour of caastown. Each aspirant associated with a particular passion, art, or skill registers and publishes their bio and key interests at the town immigration registration Centre in the CAASTOWM. Every aspirant has access to multiple colonies of the town. He/She can enter into the networking and learning colony for cult networking, course/concert enrollment, connecting to mentors, publishing content, conducting or participating in workshops, and many more. One can also enter into the accomplishments and promotion center to publish individual credits, promote talent for the public view, and allow for social evaluation. One can also enter into the announcements colony to receive customized notifications specific to passion and to identify learning opportunities, competitions, job openings, and community news.

How we built it

We intend to use ML, NLP, and data analytics. We will deeply employ Python, SQL, Django, and react web frameworks

What makes CAASTOWN stand out in the market? We have many social networking sites for various needs. However, we do not have an online solution to pursue an individual passion in a systematic way, integrating like-minded cult networking, having continuous learning, building structured opportunities, and having self-promotion. CAASTOWN will be able to connect these dots.

What we learned

CAASTOWN platform makes a profound impact on society. It helps know yourself, excel at critical tasks, and demonstrate character and leadership. CAASTOWN users are lifelong learners and problem solvers. They work with a sense of purpose and hence, would be more engaged in their work and their productivity improves.
