Inspiration

Other education apps, language teachers throughout our life, some of us having to learn English throughout our lives as a second language.

What it does

RavenCheck is a feature that uses handwriting recognition AI to recognize what is written within a handwritten essay, then, using AI, it also assesses the writing, telling what grade level the writing is at, what percent of the essay is grammatically accurate, and language proficiency of the app. It also then, highlights the mistakes, the type of error it has detected, and how to best correct them.

How we built it

We used Figma, AdobeXD, and Medibang.

Challenges we ran into

How best represent the AI components, what our logo should be, how to streamline the design of the app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of having good art in our app, the app interface being streamlined and user friendly, learning UI/UX concepts, the process of designing an app, learning how to use Figma.

What we learned

We learned the main design concepts that go into making an app, how to efficiently work in a team, and how to make an app user friendly through design aspects.
