C.O.R.A

Inspiration

We wanted to build something that resembled an AI sort of, however, something of that scale is currently out of our scope. Instead of giving up we went with something we had experience with and tried to mimic an Assistant AI as best we could.

What it does

C.O.R.A has many features like reminders, notes, study timers and other quality of life commands.

How we built it

We first planned on what features we wanted the bot to have, and then we divided the responsibilities between our two members. We all contributed our own weight and it wouldn't have been possible without us.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered many challenges because this project had many concepts that we are not familiar or comfortable with. It was a learning experience for all of our members and we all had fun which was the most important part for us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're surprised we were able to finish in time taking into consideration that the amount of features we wanted to add. We asked around and supposedly a lot of people were having trouble even thinking of what they wanted to do while we were having leaps and strides on our code.

What we learned

We learned that we should expand our horizons so the next time we can have more flexibility with what we can build. Since we didn't know much about AI or building phone applications we couldn't go down that route and instead we have to settle for something that seemed more within our scope given the time limit.

What's next for C.O.R.A

We already know what we're going to do for C.O.R.A v2. We want it to be an AI personal assistant/chatbot with multiple quality of life features but also broad enough to be able to fit into any application.
