We were looking for a fun way to integrate generative AI, as this was our team's first major project involving it. Therefore, we decided to make a website that allows users to take a personality test and generate a random character complete with a backstory.
For most of the team, this was their first exposure to full stack development with React and Flask. Some of our teammates learned how to style components using TailwindCSS. We also learned about how to make API calls using the OpenAI package.
Unfortunately, we ran into issues regarding the API key, and our team learned an important lesson about handling API keys and environment variables.
C-Gen has some potential, and if we were to flesh it out more, it would look amazing.
