Inspiration
According to various researches and UN assemblies , only 10 years are left to prevent irreversible damage from climate change. “We are the last generation that can prevent irreparable damage to our planet,” General Assembly President María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés (Ecuador) warned the gathering in her opening remarks. It is now very important for us to achieve green goals until its too late for everyone. We hope to promote an enormous change in consciousness by constructing a carbon footprint calculator. It bridges the knowledge-to-action gap, encouraging people to take responsibility for their environmental impact. With each calculation, we enable individuals to make more informed decisions, encouraging a communal commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.
What it does
The carbon footprint calculator calculates personal or organizational greenhouse gas emissions and provides information about environmental impact. It evaluates numerous activities such as energy use, transportation, and lifestyle choices, allowing people to make informed decisions and take steps to reduce their carbon footprint.
How we built it
Within three days, our carbon footprint calculator was meticulously created by a great effort, that too during both of our senior years of high school. To create an intuitive tool, we integrated cutting-edge data analysis, scientific research, and user-friendly design. With the help of sustainability specialists, we assured accuracy, comprehensiveness, and a smooth user experience, allowing anybody to easily assess their carbon footprint.
Challenges we ran into
Developing our carbon footprint calculator was a difficult pursuit. We overcame challenges by gathering thorough data and building an easy interface. We developed a comprehensive tool that enables consumers to make informed environmental decisions with ease after overcoming technological hurdles and improving calculations.

What we learned
