Inspiration

Participate in the MENA baggiest Hackathon to meet different experts and experience Individuals to come out with solution to help hajj performers and authorities in delivering the best and most effective services to People with special needs ( PSN).

What it does

The application will help PSN Hajj performers to acknowledge and retrieve hajj rules and step-by-step performance with full guidance and resources in simple and uncomplicated method. SOS functionally: SOS code for emergency that allow users to request emergency services (Medical - Police - Fire Brigade - Hajj Ministry - MOMRA (ministry of municipal and rural affairs) & others with minimum information and add attachment if needed. Also, they are able to navigate & Search through Maps to allocate their nearest Emergency provider. However, In the Backend for Authorities, They will be able to receive notifications request from individuals with full information of the incident combined with his/her portfolio to save time/ effort of gathering info and to services requested. Explore: Function option is to Search on Map for varies facilities either from Google map or Database. It helps for guidance and direction to location on Google maps as well as accommodations of the user by voice command. It will help blind people and who are not familiar with English/Arabic they can follow the direction from map. It is simplified method to assist old people to request service and using the application with minimum of how to use Smartphone & applications. Depending on the added to favorite list it will be shown as spots on location to get personal information or maybe better direction. Admin should provide the people so they can be viewed by user as icon to direct them directly. Status: Push Notification for information from coordinator and update from officials authorities. MY hajj: Medical treatment & scripts notification is included as part of where it will remind the user is available by default for users. Depend on the status, the tab should be colored in three (Red – Yellow –Green) to indicate the rate of the notification.

How I built it

We use:

• Java Language.
• Android Studio with PHP.
• MySQL .
• JSON for programming.
• JSON Database.
• Prototype.io.
• Adobe Photoshop.

Challenges I ran into

• Finding expert Java Script with Back End specialist. • Coding in Android and not in cross-platform language. • Uploading Voice massages.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

• Establish the first Version of an application support PSN Hajj performers . • Unique functionality of using voice command were it added great value for blinded people . • Simplifying Government interaction with hajj performers through simple notification and great interface

What I learned

• Understanding of Front /Back End Issues and how it can be resolved. • Learn more about special in needs and their requirement by improving software solution to serve their need.

What's next for أعِنّي

• The Application will go to thorough study with external team to close Gaps and test evolution. • Gaining sponsorship from authorities and private (Disabled Children Association & Disabled Association for old people) by providing the application to their customers. • Market campaign to advertise and promote for services through government subscription and Tawafa Companies
