Inspiration

We have seen that there are lots&lots of garbage thrown by Hajij everywhere during the Hajj Season so we wanted to decrease that amount by rewarding Hajij by incentives when they throw the garbage into the recyclable pins

What it does

Shokran rewards the Hajij who throw their garbage into the trash pins with points that can be redeemed from the app for vouchers,discounts ,gifts or even money thus encouraging more and more people to do the right behavior and in the same time decreasing the expenses of collecting wastes by reducing the amount of employees required to collect wastes and also time of the process

How we built it

We have developed a cross platform app using ionic framework,angular ,php and mysql , we have also integrated with Google maps and QR Scan plugins

How we can manage the crowding at the trash pins with the influx of Hajij

Accomplishments that we're proud of

making a positive impact in society behavior by encouraging everyone to do the right thing which shall both save for the country ,increase satisfaction and happiness among its citizens

What we learned

Co-operation and use each team member points of strength for the benefit of creating an amazing product , we also learned that a small idea can make a huge change

What's next for C-027-shokran

Shokran isn't only a reward app for throwing garbage in right place for Hajij, but it's going to expand later to be applied in cities thus decreasing the amount of waste everywhere and make a behavioral change in the society, Shokran will also expand to include incentives for alot of good behaviors later , companies that will partner with us to offer incentives will benefit from an influx of customers and will be able to reach millions of users generating more revenues for them and us as well
