Inspiration
As AI evolves, building tools is getting faster and easier. But that also means the market is flooding with new products — and users are overwhelmed. Every AI tool solves a real-world use case — but users don’t speak in product features; they speak in outcomes and their use case Whether it’s a boutique brand owner wanting to auto-reply to DMs or a school administrator looking to simplify lead capture — what they need is a use case-first discovery experience. That’s the gap byUseCase.AI fills.
What it does
byUseCase.ai curates real-world, outcome-driven growth kits for businesses — mapped by industry, role, and specific challenges. It helps users: Discover highly relevant use cases (e.g., “Auto-reply to every Instagram comment with a DM”). Instantly see tools, steps, and automations needed. Implement faster, without technical knowledge. All organized around who they are and what they’re trying to solve.
How we built it
We started by identifying unique use cases across industries and roles and then built a framework to define use cases and solution offering. Built lightweight front-end prototype built on Bolt and CSV-backed content system to manage the evolving use case taxonomy
Challenges we ran into
- Defining a categorization that balances specificity vs. scalability
- Mapping tools to use cases without overwhelming the user
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Created an initial library of few unique growth use cases, clearly mapped to industry
- Built clean UX/UI
What we learned
- Small businesses are more eager than ever to adopt AI and automation, but lack guided pathways
- Use case curation is as much editorial as it is technical — nuance matters
What's next for byUseCase.AI
- Launch MVP with 25+ mapped use cases across 10+ business personas
- Open up a community-contributed use case layer
- Partner with AI tool companies to expand reach via use-case-led adoption
