Education. This is something that didn’t really evolve since its creation. The lockdown forced all of us to go remote and that’s how we thought that something need to be done in order to bring Education to the next level, the Education 2.0.
A platform like Netflix, where one can find a lot of content but instead of movies and series, ByteLearn offers content that is educational and entertaining. Because we believe that it’s the best way to teach and that in order to catch the attention of Gen-Z, we have to be fun and cool.
The biggest challenges we had to face are certainly building the video player (we had to build our own since we wanted some specific functionality!) for our platform and managing the project while having a time difference of 8 hours with my teammate.
One of the things we are the most proud of is that we feel like we built something that matters, something that could help people in the future. The « Learn&Chill » section in our platform is also something I find super exciting because it allows us to watch super cool (non-academic) entertainment videos that are addictive while making you learn a new skill or something new about a subject.
