Inspiration

AI writing tools like ChatGPT and Claude are incredibly useful, but their output often gets flagged by AI detectors. Students, bloggers, and content creators needed a free, simple way to make AI-assisted text sound natural — without expensive subscriptions or complicated signups.

## What it does

BypassGPT transforms AI-generated text into human-like content with a single click. It bypasses all major AI detectors including GPTZero, Originality.ai, Copyleaks, Winston AI, and ZeroGPT. Supports 50+ languages and preserves the original meaning.

## How we built it

• Frontend: Next.js + React + Tailwind CSS for a fast, responsive UI
• Backend: Cloudflare Workers for low-latency global edge deployment
• AI Engine: Custom rewriting pipeline using LLM APIs with humanization fine-tuning
• Infrastructure: Deployed on Cloudflare's global network for sub-100ms response times

## Challenges we ran into

• Balancing text quality with detection bypass — too much rewriting loses meaning, too little gets flagged
• Supporting 50+ languages with consistent quality

## What we learned

• AI detection tools rely heavily on perplexity and burstiness patterns
• Edge deployment dramatically improves user experience for a global audience
• Simple UX (no login, one-click) drives adoption faster than feature-rich alternatives
