Inspiration

We feel that poor mobile network infrastructure in the united kingdom coupled with high-cost data packages severely damages the mobile internet experience.

How it works

By.gg compresses webpages and delivers them to the user in a fast efficient manner, reducing the amount of data needed to browse the web and allowing users with sub-par internet to load pages they otherwise would have been unable to (timeout).

Challenges I ran into

Parsing HTML - We found many websites that aren't w3c compliant. This made parsing of custom HTML difficult.
