There are principally six fundamental categories to delineate a human’s primary emotions by the facial expression: Anger, disgust, fear, happiness, sadness, and surprise. However, it’s a difficult problem to deal with as the lack of Kinesics and Paralanguage in the conceptualization of image formulates the detection of emotions a challenging task.

An expression can rectify more than one miscellaneous emotion thus an advanced technology such as Deep learning (RNN, DNN, LSTM) is utilized. The report will also ventilate over the challenges and shortcomings of the recent research in this field.

We are fabricating and devising revolutionary technologies every day. Sub-set of Artificial Intelligence i.e. Deep Learning is one such technique that unlocks several peculiarities to follow.
