We were looking for an app that was relevant to college students and solves a real-world need in a simple, intuitive way. So we came up with Buzzed Buddy.
The premise was: What if there was an app that would tell you the closest food and help you get home on late nights out on the town? Something so simple that even a toddler could use it. Of course, on Saturdays at 3am, our target users need a bit more help than usual to get where they're going. Buzzed Buddy makes it dead simple.
Hungry? Tap the picture of a sandwich, choose from Burgers, Tacos, Pizza, or Cracked, and the three closest restaurants are listed. Pick one, and we provide simple walking or bus directions. We also keep track of where the Cracked food trucks are and which one is closest!
Tired? Tap the picture of a house. We give bus directions to your home address that minimize walking. (You should save your address in the settings before the night begins.)
Feeling extreme? On hard mode, you have the option to call your ex. Lucky for you, it is set to be the number of the trusted friend provided by the user. We always have your back
