I hadn't even considered what I wanted to do until I sat down here. I had to come up with a project that would be doable on my own, yet still functional and possibly even useful.

What it does

Right now, it supports multi-user creation of hives---places to collaborate on classwork for a specific course. A user can be the "queen bee" of a single hive at a time. All other users also enrolled in that course can see all hives of that course.

How I built it

I started with the map and location services. Then I made the backend for hive coordinate storage. Finally I tried making it all support multiple users.

Challenges I ran into

It is complicated to make sure data is consistent with a NoSQL database

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

It doesn't crash or look like absolute garbage

What I learned

It is a good idea to have a minimum product ASAP and then expand on it.

What's next for buzz

If anyone else thinks this could be useful, I would be happy to continue working on it. I would probably rewrite a lot of it though.
