Inspiration
We saw the money and so we thought it was doable starting at midnight.
What it does
Buy High Sell Low ™ is a real time app that displays and analyze stock data (view second image which is a gif as demo). For the hackathon's purpose, we are simulating as if it was a real market from the data provided by National Bank.
We have a solid algorithm that predicts if the market is bullish or bearish given a short period of time. Through machine learning, as time goes, we are able to do better predictions.
How we built it
We used React and Flask.
Challenges we ran into
Lack of time and motivation, we are busy people...we want to sleep.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Accurate algorithm to determine if the person should buy or sell, interactive graph.
What we learned
A bit of machine learning, websockets, and finance math.
