BusyProMax was inspired by the awkwardness of walking alone on campus and the idea of using engaging digital activities to feel more comfortable, drawing inspiration from the playful concept of FoodNeverComes.
BusyProMax brings video-call-style screens, Instagram-inspired messaging, texting, food ordering, shopping, and villa security camera experiences together in one convenient mobile app.
We designed BusyProMax around Flutter and Dart, using a minimalist black-and-white theme, Times New Roman-style headings, Instagram-inspired messaging UI, and integrations with external websites.
Our biggest challenges were creating a consistent interface across different activities, handling camera permissions, and working around third-party website and messaging API limitations.
I'm proud of developing a creative app concept that combines multiple everyday digital activities in one simple, accessible, and visually consistent experience.
I learned about mobile UI/UX design, Flutter development, external website integration, permission handling, and the importance of distinguishing simulated activities from real services.
I plan to improve the app's animations and accessibility, complete and test its core features, and integrate more supported real-world services.
