Busy

Inspiration

We were inspired by this year's theme for HackMHS.

What it does

Our app helps small businesses view and manage their funds to help reach their goals, helps them advertise, assists in financial management by giving tips, assist in the hiring process, and helps them build a strong internet presence.

How we built it

We built it using mainly Java and JavaFX.

Challenges we ran into

Learning how to use JavaFX essentially from scratch was incredibly difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Persevering through our limited knowledge in the API the application is based in is an accomplishment we are very proud of.

What we learned

We learned the basics of the JavaFX framework while unfortunately not

What's next for Busy

Busy has infinite possibilities for improvement in UI, functionality, and efficiency.
