Busy Bean by The Comprades

As students ourselves, we have all faced the obstacle of low productivity while working from home during the pandemic. We created this web app for university students who are learning from home but have trouble motivating themselves and organising time for tasks. Busy Bean wants to bring fun to working from home by creating a gamified task planner. Users’ progress in completing their tasks are represented by the body colour of their avatar ‘bean’. After completing a certain number of tasks, users unlock personalisation features for their beans. Busy Bean also promotes peer connection where users can showcase their beans and incentivise work by displaying their fun designs.
