Busting Bus Bunching

We identified four solutions that are used together in tandem to help reduce the probability of bus bunching. Improved signage, Active monitoring, Reduction of Parking, and 21st century solutions.

Inspiration

The Tokyo Metro has lines on the ground specifying where to stand in line that streamlined the process so much!

What it does

We love the MTA app a lot already, and we wanted to improve it because we don't want to throw out what works. Innovation cannot be about starting from square one over and over.

How we built it

At the beginning, we brainstormed. We had a strong discussion where we found out each others opinions on transit. After that, we split into three teams, and each team had an unique task. First team made the presentation and imagery to supplement it, drawing on ProCreate.
