What it does

Ranks businesses as successful or not based on the consistency of their growth. Quantifies business similarity and recommends possible vendors.

How we built it

Python, jupyter notebooks, pandas, numpy, matplotlib

Data wrangling, messy data, what metrics are the most useful for conveying certain information.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Manually performing every step of the data science pipeline and creating in house ranking and prediction models based on intuition and mathematical principles.

What's next for Business Success and Similarity

Testing possible x^2 or exponential regression for business success. Exploring upticks and downticks in spending, especially in 2020. Testing Collaborative filtering and Locality sensitive hashing for similarity.
